2. Q: What is Sweetlocation?

A: We are the West Midlands newest regional property portal. We’re unique in that we offer a free basic listings package to advertise properties for sale or rent at no cost. By not charging our agents to advertise with us we are able to offer a more comprehensive range of properties than portals that charge, with a greater selection of homes up and down the Midlands available to search. We don’t put a premium on price over quality.

Sweetlocation was designed to be quick and simple to use while also providing all of the tools and functionality that agents and developers demand.

We do not accept private listings and all advertiser profiles are carefully checked before their listings go live on our site. This helps us to ensure that only professional agents are able to promote their properties on Sweetlocation and is another way we maintain the quality of the information published on our site.

3. Q: I am an estate agent. Can I upload my property listings using a data feed?

A: Yes. If you’re an agent and would like to supply your XML property feed to us, it’s very easy to do so. You can do this directly from your agent registration form. Just input your URL from when you sign up.

4. Q: Why is it free to advertise? Will I have to pay for my property listings in future?

A: It is free to advertise upto 250 properties on Sweetlocation and no, we don’t plan to start charging for our basic package. We firmly believe in our vision of creating a cost effective, alternative property portal. We carefully consider your business model and market conditions, and firmly beleive that our freemium option will help spread and grow out clientele.

We know that to achieve our ambitions and create a property portal that is truly the regions first choice, we will need your support – so we'll work with you as we grow.

For agents and developers keen to turbo charge their listings, we also offer a premium package.

5. Q: Who can advertise on Sweetlocation?

A: In order to maintain the quality of the portal and protect your business model, we only accept listings from professional agents and developers. We do not accept property listings from private sellers or landlords.

All agents wishing to advertise on Sweetlocation are carefully vetted before their property listings go live to ensure they meet our guidelines.

A: Of course! We love working with our agents. Get in touch for a free window sticker to display in branch so clients know to check Sweetlocation for your listings. You can also share your listings and link back to Sweetlocation from your social media pages such as Facebook and Twitter. The more traffic you drive to your property ads, the quicker the sale. It’s a win-win.

8. Q: I am an estate agent, how many properties can I advertise on Sweetlocation?

A: All agents can advertise upto 250 commercial and residential properties for absolutley free by opening our free basic account. You can also select upto three properties to be featured, which means they will be shot to the top of any search results matching its criteria.

If you need to list more than 250 properties and would like to be able to feature more than only three properties at a time, you can opt for creating a premium account which allows you to list an unlimited amount of properties, and feature upto twelve, for only £10.99 a month.
